People say the legion of boom is the best defense ever. I'm about to tell you if they are or not.


Opponents - 85 Bears, The Steel Curtain or the 2000 Ravens

85 Bears Stats: 

1. NFL top ten calls linebacker corps #5 ever
2. opposing teams averaged 12 points a game against them
3. in 11 games other teams got less than 11 points

Steel Curtain (76 Steelers):

1. Team allowed 0 points in 5 of 14 games
2. In 2007 ESPN thought it was the best defense ever
3. In last 9 games the Steel Curtain allowed only 28 points (all wins)
4. 8 of them made it to the pro bowl     

 2000 Ravens:

1. Only gave up 970 yards rushing all season (NFL record)
2. Let up 165 points all 16 games (NFL record)
3. Found 26 fumble recovery's in theirs hands (twice as much as the second place team)
